Just Dance! Diva it up at Sparkling Tiara!

It’s party time! Give your diva the perfect opportunity to go glam, glittered, and glorious with her entourage. This will be a party for the record books complete with star treatment and special memories for years to come.

Once you’ve set your date and time, you can work with the glamorous Sparkling Tiara staff to design an invitation that’s a perfect fit: maybe striking pinks and animal prints, or music notes, or glitter and glam will do the trick. You can choose the look and the details and we’ll print and mail the invitations for you!

When the diva day arrives, your party girls will step in style into a party room with funky and fabulous diva décor. The party starts with attire and accessories. Think pink, think prints, think boas and bows galore. We have a variety of diva digs to suit your birthday girl and her guests from top to toe.

Next, the girls can pump up the shine with diva nail polish, funky hairstyles, and a colorful splash of glamorous make-up (all done by our Sparkling staff, so parents can sit back and enjoy the fun)!

Once the girls are glam to the max, they get to revel in photo ops and dancing to pop.  We have diva-classics and pop songs aplenty to suit your party-girls’ tastes. The Sparkling staff will happily assist the divas with karaoke, dance, or a fashion show! The Sparkling Tiara party room is a perfect place to showcase – there’s a bright, wide open space for dancing and dining, and there are nooks for primping, posing, and singing. Princess Parties: the Royal Treatment from Start to Finish!

Birthdays should be special, exciting, and stress free. Everyone understands that guests (especially the guest of honor) should have a great time and receive excellent treatment. Sparkling Tiara loves to help you and your princess celebrate a stylish birthday.

Sparkling Tiara is home to a cheery, spacious party room. Your princess will walk up a lovely staircase (with artwork based on her favorite princesses decorating the halls) and enter a charming open space that’s decorated just for her. She and her friends will enjoy the royal treatment: hair and makeup in a salon style chair with a big perfect mirror and their pick of a selection of princess outfits, crowns, and shoes. The young princesses will be well attended by Sparkling Tiara’s friendly staff members – who do a brilliant job adorning their guests with makeup and up-dos. Next, the primped and picture perfect royalty will enjoy games, songs, and dancing in special nooks and feast on delicious snacks at a long party table. Hop Over to Sparkling Tiara for Easter Greetings!

Don’t let last week’s chilly moments fool you – spring has sprung and Easter is almost here!  The days are warming up, and we hope that this coming Sunday is filled with sunshine and blooms.

Whatever the weather, we’re looking forward to having some family time at home and at worship, participating in egg hunts, and enjoying our favorite sweet treats.  We’d like to take a break from our own preparations to wish you a joyous Easter and safe travels to those of you who will be on the road to visit family or soak up spring break.

If you are in town, we’d like to invite you to stop by Sparkling Tiara and let us help you build the perfect Easter basket. Sparkling Tiara Royal Appearances: Join Us at Platinum Dance Studio’s Golf Tournament

St. Paddy’s is over, but locals are still thinking green in preparation for the Platinum Dance Studio Golf Fundraiser. The Sparkling Tiara family is counting down to a very special tee time this Friday, March 22nd at Windtree Golf Course to help Platinum Dance Studio raise funds for the 2013 National Dance Competition in Panama City.

Come out and feel the sun on your face, the wind in your hair, and the Sparkle at the 9th hole!  Look for our signature pink tent, flashy smiles, refreshing bottled water, and delicious pink treats all provided by our charming princesses and divas. Lunch and registration begin at 12pm, and tee time is at 1:30pm. All golfers are invited to participate in this event. The $75 registration fee includes lunch and a gift bag for each golfer. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes as well as multiple contests – including the chance to win $1000 for a hole in one. If you want to offer support, but don’t wish to compete in the golf tournament – Platinum Dance is also happily accepting donations.

Even if you’re not a golfer, you’re welcome to join us and view the festivities. Don’t miss this chance to support a great local business that’s always geared towards helping students put their best foot forward with high kicks, spins, jumps, pliés and more! Our friends at Platinum provide students with the opportunity to express themselves through dance while enjoying the benefits of a supportive, uplifting environment.

Platinum’s dedication to high standards and positive experiences is apparent in their extensive list of accomplishments. Now it’s time for the community to support Platinum Dance on the road to 2013 Nationals. Sparkling Tiara is wholeheartedly supporting this effort because, like Platinum Dance Studio, we believe in the long lasting impact of constructive extra-curricular activities for students. We’re proud that youth in our community have made a long term commitment to hone their talents, work together, and achieve the goal of competing at a National Competition.

Sparkling Spring Break Week: Register Now to Join a New Themed Princess Party

School’s out and fun is at the top of every Spring Break check list! At Sparkling Tiara, we’re having an extra special event for the staycationers. From March 18-22, we’re opening our party space to young Spring Breakers.

We’re unveiling new party themes and inviting your princesses and divas to join us for 3 hours of fashionable fun. Each party will feature decorations and a fun craft activity to match the theme. There will also be plenty of time for dress up, make up, nail painting, and a fashion show.  And what party is complete without a feast? Our party guests will dine on pizza, fruit snacks, lemonade, and themed cupcakes and ice cream. All of these great activities and foods are covered in the $25 fee.

What better way to celebrate Spring Break than with an exciting party that’s fit for royalty? This is a great chance for your little princess to join her pals and make some new ones, too! Not to mention the precious opportunity for mom or dad to take a break, run some errands, or enjoy a meal with some friends.

The Sparkling Tiara family knows how to throw a great party. We’ve been helping royalty in Middle Tennessee celebrate with princess and diva themed parties for the past two years. We wrap all of our favorite things – music and lights, costumes and up dos, cupcakes and cotton candy, dancing and games – and turn birthdays and other special occasions into fairy tale dreams come true. Our friendly staff members stay focused on making sure that every party guest gets the royal treatment. The Royal Resolutions!

It’s time to bring out the new calendars and make our plans for the once in a lifetime 2013!  Some might ask “What’s so special about 2013?” We have at least 365 answers. We plan to sparkle, strut, and sass our way through every blessed day of this wonderful New Year.

Today, in addition to wishing you a Sparkling New Year, we’d like to share some of our royal resolutions. The Sparkling Tiara family excitedly pledges to bring you more products online, more wonderful party themes, more community service, and more surprises throughout 2013. 

Late 2012 saw us off to a great start with our online “Gifts to Go.” If you haven’t seen it already, check out our shopping page and have a look at all of the wonderful gifts that we’ve created for a variety of special occasions. We’re happy to ship orders to those of you who are far away (or far, far away). This year, keep an eye on our online shopping page as we add more types of themed Gifts to Go as well as our favorite best-selling items from the store.

We have a variety of talents, but everyone on staff here at Sparkling Tiara considers herself to be a dedicated “party girl.” We love helping little princesses celebrate memorable birthdays, excited bachelorettes enjoy a pre-wedding celebration with their friends, and queens and divas strut their stuff for birthdays and other special occasions. Unique and affordable parties are definitely our specialty: we do all of the prep work (including mailing the invitations and making treats) and clean up so that you can have a relaxing, memorable time. Get ready for more party themes! Soon, we’ll add to our all-star lineup of princess, diva, and queen parties.

Community service is very important to us. We’re proud to have participated in Relay for Life, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Toys for Tots campaigns. In an effort to give back to the community that we love so much, we’re pledging more of our time than ever to service projects in 2013. We’ll keep you posted on fundraisers and charity events as they happen, and we hope you join us.

Finally, we sparklingly pledge to bring you a year of royal surprises in store and out. We’ll keep questing for the best gifts and accessories for princesses, divas and queens of all ages. Spotlight on Faith Fallin

Not only does Sparkling Tiara find itself blessed with the best friends and customers around; we can turn the spotlight inward to our amazing staff. This month, we’re highlighting an employee who truly is a blessing in every sense of the word – Mary Faith Fallin!

Faith lives up to her name in every way. Her mother informed us that she was named “Mary” after several family members and “Faith” because the family knew that “God was going to teach [them] great things through this baby.” It’s no wonder, then, that Faith has such a generous spirit. She’s returned the blessings from God, her family, and her community tenfold with her own generous spirit, abundant laughter, and artistic skill.

In 1998, Faith’s father transferred his ministry from First Baptist Church in Kissimmee, FL to First Baptist Mount Juliet, TN. Faith was in 2nd grade when she entered Mount Juliet Christian Academy. That year, she began taking art lessons. Her work has been exhibited in many places including county fairs, art shows, and the Alzheimer’s unit of the local Adult Rehab Center. The Sparkling Tiara staff has also benefited from Faith’s artistic skills: she is an outstanding photographer whose talent really shines when she photographs the young ladies during princess parties.

Faith has athletic and leadership abilities as well. She played soccer throughout her school days and was part of her high school team, which won many awards. Her mother shared some of Faith’s leadership experiences with us: “She held many positions of leadership in their MJCA student council and student body. She volunteered on the yearbook staff and was the editor her senior year along with being ‘Miss MJCA.’ Faith was a leader in the youth council at First Baptist Mt. Juliet and went on many church and youth mission trips.”

Another special talent of Faith’s is her ability to work with all types of children, particularly those with illnesses and other special needs. Through the mentorship of a family friend, Faith has discovered that her calling is to be a Child Life Specialist. In an effort to realize this dream she is currently majoring in Child Development and Family Relations at Lipscomb University, where she is a Junior.

Faith has already taken advantage of many opportunities to use her skills with children who are stricken with illness or emotional strife. During a recent mission trip to Guatemala, Faith “was part of a medical team who cared for homebound medical patients. Faith helped refocus a sweet girl, Anyuli, while she was on kidney dialysis. ”

Faith also used her skills and position at Sparkling Tiara to fulfill a lifelong dream for a young girl named Angelica. Angelica was in need of a lifesaving facial surgery, so the Shalom foundation flew her from her home in Guatemala to Nashville, TN so that she could receive the medical care that she needed. Angelica possesses the heart of a princess, and Faith helped make her royal dreams a reality by working with Sparkling Tiara to host a very special princess party.

We at Sparkling Tiara count ourselves lucky to have Faith as part of our family. She always comes to work with a smile on her face, and you can hear her laughter throughout the store. She frequently makes our day by leaving positive notes in the store for other employees to find. In addition to standing out as an excellent party attendant, Faith serves as a great role model and is loved by all. We’re happy to count Faith as one of our truest blessings!

Merry Christmas from Sparkling Tiara!

2012 was a year full of special gifts for Sparkling Tiara. These gifts can’t be wrapped, packed, or confined to a bag or a box. They don’t go under the tree, in the stocking, or on the table. They’re the gifts of community, happiness, and purpose – and they all came from you! Today, we’d like to say a sincere “Thank You” to our friends and customers, and wish you a heartfelt “Merry Christmas!”

During this season of giving, you’ve shown us your generous spirits by helping us collect toys for the USMC Toys for Tots Campaign. Of course that wasn’t the first time we got to see your kindness in action. We also enjoyed your help during the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Relay for Life campaigns. And we can’t forget all of the opportunities for simple good fun, such as the recent Mount Juliet Christmas parade. Thank you for showing us what community involvement is all about!

You’ve also shown us happiness – every day is a party day at Sparkling Tiara! We’ve relished each opportunity to meet new princes and princesses of all ages. Our customers help us keep our space cheerful, and we’re glad to see you whether you’re shopping for a special gift, planning a party, or just popping in for a casual browse and a chat.

Finally, we’re delighted over the gift of purpose. Our staff is composed of a variety of dedicated employees, many of them young women who are still in High School or College. We value our customers because you help us learn more about work and life.

2012 has truly been a year of blessings for us, and there’s no better way to bring it to a close than with a very Merry Christmas! We hope that you enjoy a break with your friends and family, that you enjoy a special meal, and that you are blessed with safe and easy travel. We hope you have a sparkling holiday, and we’ll see you soon!

Bring out the Sparkle for “Starry Nights and Christmas Lights”

Tis the season for good deeds and grateful hearts, family gatherings, and community events!  Sparkling Tiara has never been happier to be a part of the Mount Juliet community. This month, we find ourselves serving more customers in more ways (in store and online) and relishing opportunities to bond with our friends and neighbors.

One of our favorite community gatherings is the annual Mount Juliet Christmas Parade.  This year’s theme is “Starry Nights and Christmas Lights,” and we plan to bring out the Sparkle! Come out at 6pm this Saturday, December 8th, to watch the parade and help celebrate Mount Juliet’s 40th year.

The parade route is along Mount Juliet Road: the start point is First Baptist Church and the end point is Charlie Daniels Parkway. Dance and sing along as marching bands play your favorite Christmas tunes. Hang out with Santa and his special helpers. And don’t forget to look out for the Sparkling Tiara family! We’ll be strutting our stuff down the parade route, and sharing sparkling smiles and holiday merriment with everyone we meet. Don’t worry, you won’t miss us: just think pink! We’ll be decked out in our usual regal splendor.

Bundle up, gather your friends and family, and stake your claim to a prime viewing spot along the parade route. Don’t forget to let your little princesses don their tutus, wands, and wings – we’d be delighted to see some royalty amongst the crowds. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to take a break and share some Christmas cheer with you, our Mount Juliet friends and neighbors.
